We welcome all levels of singing ability into
our community chorus. However, if you are one of those special people
who love to be in the audience and who enjoy supporting the arts, we
welcome your presence and your don The Chorus receives its income from member dues, ticket sales, donations, and grants, including challenge grants, which allows the chorus to match your donation dollar for dollar. Our recent sponsors include The City of Cannon Beach through its Community Grants Program. The Cannon Beach Chorus is registered with the Oregon Cultural Trust. The Oregon Cultural Trust is an innovative approach to funding Oregon's culture -- a plan to create a protected fund that will provide much needed, long-term support for cultural programs throughout the state. Your donations are tax deductible. Thanks to several generous donations, each Spring the Chorus presents the Carol Homme Vocal Music Scholarship. A $500 scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who is going on in higher education with a musical interest. You can donate to this scholarship and assist us in providing an educational opportunity to a young talented musician each year. "The Cannon Beach Chorus" awards the Carol Homme Scholarship to graduating seniors who are pursuing a degree in music. In 2008, the Chorus awarded a $1000 scholarship to Rae Anne Woodbury of Beaver, Oregon, who is a graduate of Nestucca High School and is attending Seattle Pacific Univeristy, seeking a degree in music."
