Support the Chorus

The Cannon Beach Chorus is a non-profit organization that relies on membership dues, funding from grants, and donations from patrons of the performing arts.

The Chorus is a qualifying organization with the Oregon Cultural Trust which is an innovative approach to financially maintaining the long-term support of cultural arts throughout the state
of Oregon. Donations to the Chorus are tax-deductible and also allow individuals to enjoy an Oregon tax credit (to reduce personal taxes dollar-for-dollar) on the Oregon return.

Patrons of the arts may also be interested in becoming a member of the Chorus’ Patron Membership Program. In addition to the benefit of a tax deduction, patrons have the ability to choose how their donations are used and may also contribute In Honor Of or In Memory Of an individual(s). Carol Homme Scholarship Fund: Each spring season the Chorus awards the Carol Homme Scholarship to a graduating high school senior vocalist who desires to major in music or who wishes to continue singing at the collegiate level. Students must apply, audition, and interview with the Chorus Scholarship Committee. The Chorus maintains an active relationship with area-wide high school choral programs in order to perpetuate student interest in the Scholarship process.

Do you consider yourself a 'friend' of the Chorus and if so, would you like to be involved? If so, simply let a board or chorus member know if you would like to be a Friend of the Chorus! A 'friend' helps with ticket sales, handing out programs at performances, serving and/or preparing receptions. In return you will be given a ticket to the performance compliments of the Cannon Beach Chorus. Feel free to e-mail info@cannonbeachchorus.org or call 503-436-0378 if interested.
