A Message from the Director

We are a community of people who love to sing together and our membership includes beginning singers and professional singers.  We come from as far away as about 50 miles (in nearly every direction, though not so many from west of here) and as near as just down the block.  We are in our 80s and in our teens, and every one of us are in our golden years.  We sing in a place that is known for its rare natural beauty, and we love that we can add to that visual beauty with beautiful sounds.

We love choral music, new and old, but most of all we love singing together.

Though there is no audition for membership, we hope you’ll want to learn to sing better and to improve your musicianship skills, and also want to make new friends.Welcome to the Cannon Beach Chorus.

We’re glad you’re here!  You are going to love it.

Lending Library

It is part of our mission to offer the gift of vocal music to as wide an audience as possible.   We realize the high cost of music limits what some choruses can offer.  We are grateful to Baker University of Baldwin City, KS for their generous loan of music to us through the years.

With that in mind, the Cannon Beach Chorus is happy to make our Lending Library available to other groups.  Our inventory ranges from 10 copies to 60 copies.  Our policy is to loan you whatever we have, with the understanding that you will return those copies plus 10% more to cover loss or damage.  EX. If you borrow 50 copies, you will return 55 copies to us.  Please contact us for further details.
