Cannon Beach Chorus Scholarship Fund

Each spring season the Chorus awards the Cannon Beach Chorus Scholarship to graduating high school senior vocalists who have earned credits in a high school choral program, and who will major or minor in music, or who wish to continue choral singing at the collegiate level.

The Scholarship amount varies depending on the number and quality of the auditions. Students must apply to, audition for, and interview with the Chorus Scholarship Committee. The Chorus maintains an active relationship with area high school choral programs in order to support and to perpetuate student interest in choral music and the Scholarship process.

Past recipients of the Carol Homme Scholarship and Cannon Beach Chorus Scholarship have attended Oregon schools that include Portland State University, Western Oregon University, Southern Oregon University, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and Pacific University and other great colleges and universities across the country.

Application and letters of recommendation must be submitted by April 8, and auditions/ interviews will occur by April 29.
