Membership

Singing can bring such joy to the lives of those who sing and to those who listen.
Cannon Beach Chorus welcomes singers to join as members of our joyful community.

The responsibilities of membership are detailed in the Membership Handbook linked below and include:
• Participation in all rehearsals and performances.
• Preparation for rehearsals and performances. Usually this requires work on the part of members that is outside of scheduled Chorus rehearsals.
• Payment of membership dues (membership scholarships are available).

Cannon Beach Chorus is a non-audition chorus, which means that you need not pass a test of your singing abilities before joining the chorus. We value your participation and support your journey to add your voice to the Chorus. Many members of the Chorus have sung in other choirs during their lifetime. Many members can read music. But many singers join the Chorus without prior choral experience or training.

We can help you understand your vocal range and, hence, your place in the Chorus as a bass, tenor, alto, or soprano. We can help you to hear your part in the music and how to add your voice to create beautiful choral music.

If you choose to support the Chorus in ways other than in singing, we welcome your participation as a donor or as a volunteer.
